Wanda Wojtulewicz-Levine. B Sc Arch (Hons). B Arch (Hons),
Cert. Adv Teaching A.V. Lunacharsky Institute (GITIS), Moscow.
Wanda is a Character and Folkloric dance specialist. She was awarded a scholarship to train at the A.V. Lunacharsky Institute (GITIS), Moscow, where she gained a certificate in the advanced courses of Methods of Teaching Classical Ballet and Folk-Stage Dance.
She was Assistant Artistic Director of the National Folkloric Festival, and the Artistic Director of the Festival of Cultures, both at the Sydney Opera House.


Kit Lethby P.D.T.C. Major Examiner for The Royal Academy of Dance. Trained
at the Rambert School of Ballet, London and then danced with The Scottish
Ballet and Australian Ballet Company


Melisa Ribola (Gowen). Melisa graduated with a Bachelor of Dance from The Victorian College of The Arts in 2002 and in 2003 attained her Honours degree in dance research and performance. Melisa has her A.R.A.D and her R.A.D Teachers Certificate (Distinction). She has worked as a professional contemporary dancer, performing works by Carol Dilley, Micheal Whaites and Anton. In 2011 she was an inaugural recipient of the Keys Arenas Trust choreographic scholarship.


Kim Traynor trained at The Royal Ballet School, London. Former dancer
with The Australian Ballet Company.Kim has been a lecturer of
Classical Dance at the The VCA Melbourne and is also a freelance coach
and adjudicator.


Philip Brock-Atkinson. trained at the Australian Ballet School and then
at the Royal Ballet School.Genee Silver Medalist 2002 and former dancer
with The English National Ballet Company and The Western Australian
Ballet Company.Previously a professional dancer with Opera Australia and the Melbourne Ballet Company. he has completed the RAD CBTS 2009 to achieve professional teaching status.


Karina Pobereznic trained at The Australian Ballet School.  Danced with The Australian Ballet and as a First Artist with Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Australian Ballet.  She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Applied Studies in Dance and has completed her Diploma Course with The Australian Ballet School.


Sally Clarke has worked extensively in theatre, film, television and fashion throughout Australia, South East Asia, Japan, Germany and the USA as a dancer (Jazz, Tap and Classical), singer, actor and model.  Other work sees her conducting Master classes in “Presence and Performance” and she is a regular writer for Dance Australia Magazine.


Julia Barry has been teaching all levels of dance for the past 35 years. Julia is a graduate of the Royal Ballet School Teachers' Training Diploma Course and holds the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Teaching Diploma. On top of this she has Associate teaching qualifications in the National Dance, Modern Theatre, Imperial Ballet and Cecchetti Ballet Branches of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and a Teaching Diploma in Benesh Dance Notation. Julia has gained her Master of Creative Industries (Dance Teaching) degree, with High Distinction, from Queensland University of Technology.


HIP HOP Nikola Blake has trained in all styles of dance since the age of ten. Her training includes: Brent Street Cert IV in Performing Arts, CSTD examinations, Pineapple Dance Studios London. Her experience includes dancing for music videos, TV, corporate shows as well as choreography and direction. Teaching for over 5 years, she has a passion for watching students grow as dancers. 

Julie McQuire A.R.A.D. Solo Seal. Specialises in working with young children and choreographing Eisteddfod solos.


Joanne Carswell is a singer/dancer/actress, she originally trained in Scotland, then at the age of 15 moved to London with a full scholarship to train at the famous Laine Theatre Arts. Joanne then performed in musicals in London's West End and danced/choreographed for the likes of X-Factor, Royal Variety, Take That, Leona Lewis, One Direction, Rhianna and many more. Joanne loves sharing her passion and knowledge of the performing world on to younger professionals.

CLASSICAL & CONTEMPORARY Veronica Mahon studied ballet with her mother, Marie Walton- Mahon. In 1996 Veronica won the Gold Medal at the Genee Awards and subsequently joined the Australian Ballet School and joined the Australian Ballet Company in 2000. After leaving the company in 2004, she travelled overseas and performed with Ballet Ireland, Dublin and The Atlantic Southeast Ballet Company in South Carolina, USA. Veronica returned to Australia and began teaching at the Marie Walton-Mahon Dance Academy until an opportunity arose in 2007 to join Sydney Dance Company. Recently Veronica has been teaching and choreographing at the Marie Walton- Mahon Dance Academy and National College of Dance under the Direction of Marie Walton and Brett Morgan. Veronica joined Mod in 2011 for the production of Suite Synergy.

Wilhelmina Brown, qualified Teacher for The Royal Academy of Dance.


Olivia Jenkins trained with Marie Walton-Mahon then in Paris with Monique Arabian, in Marseille at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Danse, followed by 3 years on scholarship at English National Ballet School. Olivia worked with English National Ballet, Cannes Jeune Ballet, Balletto di Teatro Massimo and at Stadt Ballett Koblenz, Germany. Olivia gained a First Class Honours degree in Professional Practice (Ballet) from London University. She graduated from the Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma in London with Distinction. The RAD have subsequently asked Olivia to teach at their International Summer Schools in Singapore and Tokyo in 2014.

CLASSICAL, MODERN, TAP & JAZZ Melanie Watson (Lanie) trained at Langshaw Dancity in Modern Tap and Classical Ballet, where she has recently been employed as a teacher. She started her career as a Singer, Dancer & Choreographer and has also performed on Carnival Cruise Lines. She has attained her ISTD Tap Associate and is currently studying a Bachelor of Education.
CLASSICAL Jacqueline Clarke Mitchell A.R.A.D. C.B.T.S. R.A.D. Registered.
Trained at Tessa Maunder O.A.M., The Australian Ballet School and Marie
Walton Mahon - The National College of Dance.  Extensive professional
performance experience in classical and theatrical styles.

Sharon Backley-Astrachan graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Edith Cowan University with an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (dance). She has professionally danced with numerous dance companies in Israel and more recently Opera Australia. Since 2011 Sharon has taught dance in Israel and Australia.
